The Greek Theater is the most famous monument of the city and represents one of the most important reason to visit Taormina. Walking from Porta Messina, a slightly up hill road leads to the majestic Theater, the most evocative for its extraordinary position overlooking the Bay of Giardini Naxos, Taormina and Mount Etna.
